bioTheranostics, a provider of molecular diagnostic solutions has snapped up Dr. Michael Dugan as its new Chief Medical Officer whilst Dr. Catherine Schnabel has been appointed Vice President of Medical, Clinical, and Regulatory Affairs.
“Their combined expertise in molecular diagnostics, pathology, medical affairs, and clinical research will be instrumental as we work to provide solutions for metastatic cancer through the development of innovative molecular diagnostic tests,” said CEO, Richard Ding.
Dugan came to bioTheranostics from his role as vice president and chief medical officer at Roche Molecular System, whilst Schnabel has been at the company since 2009 with 12 years of pharmaceutical, clinical and diagnostics research under her belt.
Provider of data-driven health information technology Arcadia Solutions has appointed Sean Carroll as CEO and a member of Arcadia’s Board of Managers, effective April 1.
Carroll joins Arcadia from Nuance Healthcare where he managed an approximately $500 million line of business focused on providing technology and services to the healthcare industry.
Ex Pfizer Vice President of Global Clinical Trials, James Taylor, has become the new Vice President, Clinical Development at CRO INC Research.
Taylor has worked for over 25 years in the life science industry with 15 of those focused on global clinical trials. As well as working for Pfizer, Taylor has served as Global Head of outsourcing management at Sanofi-Aventis.

Ken Martin has been appointed President and CEO at medical device company Cibiem. Martin brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, coming direct from being the President and CEO of Sadra Medical, bought by Boston Scientific Corp in 2011.
GGA Software Services has appointed Bob Kramich to the role of Chief Business Development Officer.
With over 25 years of experience in the outsourced software industry Richard Golob, GGA’s President and CEO said: “His extensive knowledge in IT offshoring services, particularly those related to new and emerging markets, will accelerate GGA’s business growth worldwide.”
Michael Hickey – the former VP of Sales at AstraZeneca and former President of AstraZeneca in the Netherlands – has joined Delta Point, a firm who partners life sciences companies to maximise their sales performances.
